Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to recruit for 600 Assistant Posts; Online registrations begin

Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the nation’s central bank has issued a new notification for the recruitment of 610 Assistant posts.

Unlike other public sector banks, working in Reserve bank of India is different & carries its own benefits.That is one of the primary reason for aspirants to look forward for recruitment news from RBI.

Here are the important details about the hiring at RBI, which you can go through to decide on the applications.

Post & Vacancies: Assistant (610 Posts)

Dates: Online registrations from November 7 – 28, 2016

Preliminary Test on December 23 & 24

Main Exams in January 2017

Qualifications: Candidates with a Bachelors Degree in any discipline are eligible. The minimum Marks required in graduation is 50%

Age Limit: Candidates who are between 20 – 28 years are eligible.

For SC/ST category candidates upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years & 3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates.

Selection Procedure : Candidates must appear for Preliminary Examination initially & those who qualify in it need to site for the Main Examination.

The final selection shall be based on your scores in main exam & personal interview.

Registration Process: Candidates who fulfill all these eligibility criteria can apply online through the RBI website. Those who belong to the General/OBC have to pay Rs. 450 Fee & other applicants (SC/ST/PWD/EXS) have to pay Rs.50 as application fee.
