Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released a notification on its official website for the recruitment of Assistant Director of Handloom and Textiles vacancies. Age Limit: The age limit of candidates should be 18 years for SCs, STs, MBCs/ DCs, SC(A)s, BCs (OBCMs), Destitute Widows and BCMs of all Castes, 18 – 30 years for others as on July 1, 2016. The relaxation in age is applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates need to have a Degree in Textile Technology/ Degree in M.com/ M.A. with Economics as the main subject/ M.Sc., with Mathematics as the main subject.
Selection Process: The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of written examination, oral test and interview.
Examination Fee: Candidates are required to pay Rs. 125/- (Rs. 50/- For one time Registration Fee) through online by using Net banking/ Credit card/ Debit card or it can be paid at State Bank of India/Indian Bank. No fee for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates.
