BHOPAL: The state economic offences wing (EOW) has registered FIR against eight people including the director of a Rewa-based college in connection with misappropriation of scholarship funds meant for students.
An offence has been registered against authorities of IPS College, Rewa, for allegedly defrauding scholarship amount to the tune of Rs 14 lakh during academic session of 2013-14.
Investigations have revealed that many withdrawals were made allegedly using fake documents. The amount was credited to the account of college director, said sources.
