Following the usual, tried-and-tested job seeking strategies will give you a leg up as you start looking for work. However, this 2019, you can increase your chances of landing your dream job by following these additional tips:
- Target the right job and company
Applying for a new job doesn’t mean submitting your resume to all companies you come across that have vacancies. If you do, you will waste a lot of time applying for positions that you may not even like or be qualified for.
To narrow down your search and identify the positions that are worth applying for, and create a checklist of the things you are looking for in a new role.
