Budget 2020: Common Eligibility Test for recruitment to non-gazetted govt posts

Finance Minister Nirmala Sithraman in Budget 2020 proposed a computer-based online common eligibility test for recruitment for non-gazetted government posts. The government has also proposed to set up a National Police University and a National Forensic Science University. Presenting the Budget for 2020-21, Sitharaman said ₹99,300 crore has been allocated for the education sector and ₹3,000 crore for skill development.
