UP 69,000 Assistant Teacher recruitment merit list released at upbasiceduboard.gov.in, check district allotment list

New Delhi | Jagra News Desk: The final merit list for 69,000 posts of Assistant teachers has been released by the Uttar Pradesh Education Council. The list of district allotment has been released on the official website. Candidates who had appeared in the exam shall visit the websites — upbasiceduboard.gov.in and atrexam.upsdc.gov.in to check the final list.

The list was supposed to be declared on June 1 but the council had not officially announce the time of the release.

The counselling for UP teacher posts to fill the vacancies would commence on June 3 and continue till June 6.
As per a report from Jagran Josh, the final merit list contains 67,867 candidates. The remaining seats are reserved for ST category.

Steps to check the merit list:

Step 1: Visit the official website.

Step 2: Click on the specified link written in Hindi.

Step 3: You will be redirected to a PDF file, download the file and take a print out for future reference.

The shortlisted candidates need to verify the documents such as educational qualifications, certificates, among others. Submit a copy of the original documents. Once you fulfill the eligibility criteria, The council will then issue appointment letters to verified candidates.

Previously, a total of 4,09,530 candidates had appeared in the exam out of which 1.46 lakh candidates had cleared the examination. This year, the cut off marks for general candidates was 65 per cent (97 out of 150 marks). For SC candidates, the cut off marks stood at 60 per cent . At least 36,614 and 24,308 candidates qualified in the exam. At least 84,868 and 270 candidates qualified from OBC and ST quota.
